Deep: Freediving, Renegade Science, and What the Ocean Tells Us About Ourselves by James Nestor

An amazing book for anyone interested in the freediving part of mermaiding or learning about the effects water has on the human body.

Initiation into Hermetics by Franz Bardon

I recommend all of Franz Bardon’s books to those who wish to cultivate their senses, mental focus, physical vessel, and astral body to connect with elementals and to be clear channels for their energy. Although elemental research has expanded astronomically since Franz Bardon’s time, his mental and physical exercises are still incredibly attractive and useful for spiritual adepts who want to communicate with elementals, achieve astral travel, and develop mastery over their own thoughts and mental faculties.

The Practice of Magical Evocation by Franz Bardon

This is the second book of Franz Bardon’s occult classics and is designed to be read immediately after Initiation into Hermetics. In this follow-up, the spiritual adept will continue to hone their mental plane to razor-sharp precision while expanding their communicative potential with elementals and planetary beings through the use of sigils, seals, and other contact techniques.
